The event features a moderated online forum and guests can listen and comment via chat. Comments are conveyed by the moderator and the transcript from the forum informs the session notes.

SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS

Panellists bring subject-matter expertise to help frame the research in the context of the roundtable participants. Questions posed by panellists initiate the roundtable discussion and online forum.

Roundtables are an important part of the research methodology. The roundtable format includes a summary of the findings and recommendations to date, followed by comments from panellists, and a roundtable discussion. The session contributes to ongoing research on for-benefit models and includes a session brief the informs the annual recap.

TORONTO ROUNDTABLE

Held March 23, 2018 at OCADU.
The Recap will be distributed by January 2019.

The Toronto Roundtable brought together 31 people with an interest in for-benefit corporations. Panellists: Dr Nabil Harfoush (OCADU), Allyson Hewitt (MaRS), Susan Manwaring (Miller Thomson), and Joyce Sou (B Lab). 


The Roundtable report will be featured in the project's annual Recap, January 2018.
